Nana Tea, a popular social media influencer and philanthropist, recently provided an update on Prince Aniewu, a former drug addict he helped rehabilitate in a conversation with Giovani Caleb on Showbiz 360.
Aniewu, who was once a promising student at Bishop Herman College, had fallen into drug addiction and ended up working as a scrap dealer after secondary school.
His story gained attention when a video of him in a distressed state went viral on social media in November 2023. In the video, Aniewu expressed his desire to quit drugs, return to education, and pursue a career as a legal practitioner.
Moved by Aniewu’s plight, Nana Tea reposted the video and reached out to Pastor Elvis Agyemang, the host of Alpha Hour, for assistance. Pastor Agyemang generously donated GHC12,000 to cover the first three months of Aniewu’s rehabilitation.
Now, Prince is in a much better place. He has successfully overcome his addiction and is currently studying law at the University of Ghana, Nana Tea shared.
Nana Tea, through his social media influence and philanthropic efforts, has not only changed Aniewu’s life but has also positively impacted many others.
