Michael Polansky is an American businessman, entrepreneur, tech whiz, and philanthropist. Polansky is widely known as singer Lady Gaga’s current fiancé.

Polansky was born in San Francisco on October 27, 1978. He is 46 years old. He attended Havard University where he studied applied mathematics and computer science, graduating in 2006. Polansky made a couple of important friends during his college years – Sean Parker, a Facebook investor who will become his future business partner, and Mark Zuckerberg, who was at Harvard at the same time but famously dropped out to start Facebook in 2004.

After college, Michael Polansky worked as an Investment Associate with Bridgewater Associates and later as the Principal on the Founders Fund, according to LinkedIn. He co-founded the investment firm Avos Capital Management in Jan 2021 and in March 2022, co-founded and became CEO of Outer Biosciences, a skin health company focusing on developing novel, safe and effective products.

In September 2009, Michael Polansky was named the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of the Parker Group, the vehicle that oversees Sean Parker’s business dealings. Sean Parker is the founder of Napster and a Facebook investor. Those familiar with the movie about Facebook’s founding, The Social Network, would remember him as the character portrayed by Justin Timberlake.

After 14 years in the role, Polansky stepped down as CEO in December 2023 and is now a special advisor to the Parker Group.

Polansky also helped co-found the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, a non-profit which funds research for cancer treatments.
