The father of Edward, the 18-year old boy who was st@bbed to death has finally broken his silence on the matter.

Speaking to some reporters, Edward’s father recounted how his niece called him from school that his son was engaged in a heated fight with another colleague.

He disclosed that when he asked about the whereabouts of the teachers, his niece reported that they were unconcerned about the ongoing altercation.

“ I was at work when my niece called me that my son, Edward was engaged in a fight with some. He told me to come quickly because the teachers were not doing anything about it. I quickly left what I doing and set off to the school. She later called me that Edward had been stabbed and was bleeding profusely. I still asked her if the school authorities were not available to which she responded that they were unconcerned. I was rushing to the school when my niece called me once again to tell me that Edward had been rushed to the hospital by some of his colleagues. Again, no teacher said anything. I finally got to the hospital only to be told my son is dead”. He narrated.

“ It has been almost 48 hours and I haven’t heard anything from the school authorities, the police or the family of the boy who took the life of my son. I want justice for Edward and the person responsible for his death to face the consequences!” He added.
