Dormaahene – Twene Jonas And Others Have Valid Reasons To “Insult” Leaders When You Compare Ghana’s Development To Other Countries

Published by

Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr Agyemang Badu II has openly stated that individuals like Twene Jonas, Ohene David among others’  who insult our political and traditional leaders are sometimes warranted, even though he does not endorse the use of insults.

This comment was made during his recent visit to the United States, during which he expressed disappointment over Ghana’s low level of development compared to other countries.

The Chief explained that because some of our leaders perform so poorly, it’s hard to completely dismiss Twene Jonas’ harsh words. He pointed out the big difference between the progress in Western countries and the lack of development in Ghana, even though the country has many resources.

He also added that anyone who has visited America would understand the frustration and anger toward our leaders for not doing a better job.
