Julia Holland, Scholarship Established in Memory of Recently Deceased Ohio State University Graduate

Julia Holland, a recent graduate of the Ohio State University (OSU) has unexpectedly died, leaving family and friends devastated.

Holland was a brilliant law student on juris doctor track at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and her death came as a shock.  A fundraiser was established by the University to raise funds to establish a scholarship in her honor.

Julia Holland was a 2023 graduate of the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies, and minors in Forensic Science and Substance Misuse and Addiction Studies.

Originally from near West Orange Townsip, New Jersey, she graduated Verona High School in 2020, before her undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA and making the Dean’s List every single semester. She was studying for her juris doctor (law) degree at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law at the time of her tragic demise.

In the wake of her death, the Law College started a fundraiser in her honor. The purpose is to raise money to establish scholarships for law students and in turn, immortalize her.

Julia Holland was a former cheerleader with Star Athletics Cheer New Jersey. Her former organization mourned her passing, noting on Facebook: “We are devastated to hear about STAR alumni Julia’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family & friends during this extremely difficult time,”
