Social media users have lashed out at Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia after revealing a plan to fight crime.
According to the Vice President, he is going to install 50,000 CCTV cameras all across the country to help fight crime.
He made the promise during his latest campaign stop ahead of the 2024 elections.
Social media users upon hearing his promise descended upon him for having the wrong priorities, as usual.
Many pointed out that basic things like streetlights and traffic lights are not working across the country so cctv cameras will do no good.
“Traffic lights and street lights are not working. Those everyday ones saf you can’t do. However, you are here telling me about CCTV. YOU DEY JOKE,” one netizen wrote.
