NPP politician and Member of Parliament for Akyem Abuakwa South, Samuel Atta Akyea has called on Ghanaians to vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia because he does not drink alcohol.

According to him, Bawumia is distinguished from all other politicians because he abstains from alcohol which makes him a good leader.

Atta Akyea made his comments while speaking during a campaign event in the Eastern region.

He said: “Ghana is fortunate to have an economist who is composed, knowledgeable, and abstains from alcohol. We are truly blessed. Ghana is on the verge of having a president with wisdom, a leader who is astute and refrains from drinking alcohol,”

Reacting to his claims, Ghanaians said they would rather choose a drunkard as a leader than an incompetent f**l.
