A GoFundMe-style fundraiser has been started for Frederick County, Maryland couple Crimea Malita Baker and Sean Antoine Lange who were found murdered in cold blood.

The two were found dead at their home in the 7000 block of Mandalong Court in New Market at about 7 a.m. Sunday.

According to police, they had been shot around 1:30 a.m. with four kids inside the home.

Baker, 33, of New Market and Lange, 34, of Arlington, were found with 42 gunshot wounds, all from close range.

Authorities called the killing a “crime of rage and anger,”

The couple were living together and police believe it was a targeted killing. Malita was the mother of all four kids and Lange was the father of one kid.

To help raise money for the poor children left behind, a fundraiser, on GiveSendGo, has been started.

“On August 25th, my best friend and devoted single mother, Crimea Baker, was tragically murdered in her home. Her four children were present. She was 33 years old,” the GoFundMe-style fundraiser by Jennifer Duncan read.

“Never in a million years could I imagine I’d be typing that sentence….I am reaching out to our community in need of support for her four young children ages 11, 10, 9, and 7-month-old baby,”

The fundraiser has so far raised more than half of its $100,000 goal.
