The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Honourable Samuel George, has lambasted the NPP Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, accusing him of being a big liar and failing to fulfil government promises.

In an interview on GHOne TV, Sam George stated that Dr. Bawumia is not a trustworthy leader, referencing the government’s pledge to allocate $1 million annually to each constituency for development.

This promise was made under the Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP), which aimed to address the basic infrastructure needs of rural and underprivileged communities.

Sam George expressed frustration over the unfulfilled commitment, stating, “I am owed $7 million by Dr. Bawumia. Was it not Dr. Bawumia who promised one million dollars for every constituency every year? The people of Ningo-Prampram deserve their $7 million.”

He criticized the lack of progress on this initiative, arguing that it makes Dr Bawumia a liar.

The $1 million per constituency initiative was intended to support projects such as water supply, drainage systems, and school renovations, but according to Sam George, these promises remain largely unfulfilled.
