Ghanaian social media influencer cum entrepreneur, Aba Dope has narrated how an encounter with her crush forced her to go under knife.
Speaking to Emelia Brobbey in a recent interview, Aba Dope disclosed that she has always been insecure about her body and as a result she often wears artificial hip and butt pads to make her bottom look rounder.
But while working at D-black’s night club one night, she met a young man she had been crushing on. During a conversation, he hugged her tightly and squeezed her backside. This action made her feel uncomfortable and that was when she decided to permanently fix her body.
“I asked around and booked Turkey. I went for a Turkey visa because I wanted to go and do it there. I asked for the price, and they said €5,000. I’m like, I don’t have it now. So, they said I could pay in instalments. So, I made up my mind to go and pay in instalment.”
“Fortunately for me, one lady who had her body done came to my restaurant. So, I asked her where she did it, and she said Nigeria, and I decided I’d go there… At that time, they were running promotions, so it was GH₵30,000. I quickly went to Nigeria without even booking,” she narrated.
