Ghanaian blogger Socalledcelebs shared her thoughts on a recent statement by Nana Ama McBrown, where the actress encouraged early parenthood while suggesting that young people delay marriage. Socalledcelebs warned that celebrities could mislead the younger generation.
She wrote, “This generation needs a discerning spirit to guide them because these celebrities will mislead a lot of people. It’s better to marry the wrong person, see the signs, and run away than to have a child with the wrong person.”
She emphasized the importance of choosing a responsible partner for both marriage and having children. In her view, if someone isn’t willing to marry you, they aren’t responsible enough to have a child with.
She questioned the idea of having children in your 20s but waiting until your late 30s to get married. She argued that whatever reasons stop you from getting married should also stop you from having children. Socalledcelebs advised young people to focus on their education and financial stability before starting a family.
She suggested that marriage and children should go together so that both parents can raise their kids. She also stressed the importance of considering a partner’s family background before deciding to have children with them.
“The moment you marry, God will open more doors for you. Stay true to yourselves. Born what u can feed. if 1 or 2,..born them, rest is hardwork❤️,” she added.
