She was named after a very famous predecessor, the original Kathleen Kick Kennedy who was JFK’s sister and the Marchioness of Hartington.

Kathleen Alexandra Kick Kennedy born April 13th 1988 is the daughter of Robert Kennedy Jr and his first wife Emily Ruth Black. She’s the Kennedy who did not jump into politics but is instead carving her own way out as an actress. She is 36 years old.
According to her, growing up with her dad was a fun adventure, as Robert Kennedy Jnr, who recently ended his third party Presidential campaign to endorse Donald Trump, was a kickass environmental lawyer in his heyday who was willing to go to any lengths in service of his passion.
Her nickname, Kick comes from her great-aunt, the original Kathleen Kick Kennedy, elder sister of JFK, who died on May 13, 1948 in a plane crash at the very young age of 28.
After graduating high school, Kick attended Stanford University where she studied history and theatre. It was at Stanford that she started her acting career, appearing on Curb Your Enthusiasm alongside her stepmom, Cheryl Hines in 2011 and on the political drama Newsroom. She also played herself on an episode of Gossip Girl.

After graduating from College she studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute.
Aside from acting, Kick has been a contributing editor at several publications. Her other major passion is activism and philanthropy which she picked from her dad and has been carrying out since college.
During her time at Stanford, she hiked Mount Kilimanjaro with actors Emile Hirsch and Jessica Biel in an effort to raise water shortage awareness.
In 2008, she also created an IMAX 3-D film with her father titled Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk, which showcased her and RFK Jr in a whitewater rafting adventure down the Colorado River as they attempted to raise awareness of the world water crisis.
Per her very active Instagram page, Kick Kennedy enjoys various sporting pursuits – including tennis, skiing and horseback riding – the environment, and being philanthropic.
Her other great love is animals, as she’s seen in many photos with all sorts of animals. According to her, that started from her childhood as she was raised in a home with animals everywhere including “dogs and cats and chickens and alligators”
Prior to being linked to Ben Affleck, Kick Kennedy was dating billionaire banking heir Matthew Melon. Their romance was cut short unexpectedly when Mellon died in April 2018. She also previously dated Harper Simon.
In August 2024, Kick was in the news after being spotted with Ben Affleck. Affleck is just coming off his divorce with Jennifer Lopez and the tabloid media are screaming to find him a new match. According to the reports, Ben and Kick were spotted hanging out around Los Angeles, including at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills.
It’s not exactly clear the nature of their relationship but the two have a prior friendship. It is also entirely possible they are simply discussing a new role.
Away from her love life, her brother Conor also famously/infamously was once linked to Taylor Swift. Kick called Taylor ‘really sweet’ when interviewed about meeting her at the time.
