Veteran Ghanaian actress and TV show host Nana Ama McBrown has responded to those accusing her of lying about her age.
In a recent interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat, the actress addressed her critics, stating that those complaining about her age were not present when her mother gave birth to her.
“I have seen all the false news people write about me online. I don’t care what other people think of me. Those claiming that I am over fifty—were they there when my mother gave birth to me? Or did they help my mother change my diapers? I have been in this industry for twenty-four good years. If I cared about what people thought of me, I would have been depressed and miserable,” she said.
Nana Ama also spoke about the condition of her right hand and the pain she continues to endure. She revealed that despite undergoing multiple surgeries on her arm, she is still in pain.
She mentioned to Bola Ray her plans to undergo another surgical procedure to alleviate the discomfort. Nana Ama explained that her arm has several screws and metal plates inserted to help her move it more easily. However, even the slightest movement or pressure can cause the metal to shift or the screws to pop out.
