One of Ghana’s favourite media personalities, Empress Nana Ama McBrown has shared her thoughts on the ideal age for women to consider marriage, suggesting that women should wait until they are 35 before getting married.
According to her, men should consider marriage around the age of 40 or even later, by 45.
Drawing from her own experiences, McBrown emphasized that prioritizing having children earlier in life is more important than marrying early.
She mentioned, “If I could go back in time, I would only start thinking about marriage after 35. If I were a man, I would wait until 40 or even 45. However, I believe it’s perfectly fine to have children with someone before considering marriage.”
As the host of Onua Showtime, McBrown acknowledged that societal norms often frown upon having children before marriage, but she argued that it’s merely a deviation from traditional expectations.
She stated, “I would choose to have children before getting married. I understand this might be controversial, but life is full of choices and mistakes. If a man decides not to marry you after having a child together, it is not the end of the world. While the Bible offers its guidance, life has its own rules and challenges.”
The bubbly actress has advised her fans to choose a path that suits them.
