The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif, has revealed that the government spent $3m on coverage of the 2024 All Africa Games.
Ussif made the revelation during an appearance in Parliament before the Public Accounts Committee.
Under questioning from Sam George, Ussif revealed that they paid the amount into the coffers of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) who covered the event.
Sam George said he was asking the question because he was aware some technicians at GBC had not been paid despite their work on the All Africa Games’ coverage.
