Ghanaian actress, movie producer, and mother of four, Nadia Buari, recently revealed a surprising side of herself that many fans might not know.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Nadia is seen preparing fufu—a beloved Ghanaian dish—by skilfully turning the dough in a mortar while an unidentified man pounds.
The actress also highlighted how fufu is a cherished Sunday staple in many Ghanaian households.
Ghanaian fufu is traditionally made by boiling starchy ingredients like cassava, yams, or plantains, then pounding them in a large wooden mortar with a pestle until smooth and stretchy. The mixture is then shaped into a ball and served with different kinds of soup.
Nadia Buari is often seen as a sophisticated figure, rarely associated with domestic chores. However, her recent appearance in a traditional Ghanaian home setting has reshaped that perception.
