The National Youth Organizer of the ruling NPP, Salam Mustapha, has said the party is not ready to relinquish power simply to allow peace to reign in Ghana.
According to him, they are ready, willing and able to meet and match the NDC boot for boot if they engage them with violence.
Mustapha, speaking during a campaign rally, said the NDC should not think that just for the sake of peace the NPP will allow any violence to go unanswered.
He said if the NDC tries them they will realize that the NPP has more men than they do.
“We will not sacrifice power on the altar of peace, we will not do it. We will not submit, we will not be cowed, prevented, or pushed,” Mustapha said.
