Chris Chan Arrested – Full Video of Chris Chan’s Arrest in 2021 Goes Viral

A video detailing the 2021 arrest of infamous internet personality Chris Chan aka Christine Weston Chandler has gone viral on social media.

The video contains the entire back and forth cops had with Chandler prior to her arrest and how intriguing the entire incident was.

The video showing Chris Chan getting arrested was released on social media platforms X and YouTube.

Why was Chris Chan arrested?

Chris Chan born Christian Weston Chandler was arrested on August 1, 2021 after a leaked phone call appearing to show him admitting to having s*xual relations with his demented, 79-year-old mother.

Chan appeared to have been tricked by an internet troll who pretended to be a female named ‘Bella’ and via chats and phone calls, got some disturbing details of his alleged assaults on his mother from him.

The information was posted online on July 30, 2021 containing a recording and text messages purporting to expose Chan.

He took to social media to repond, posting: “There is drama in the air today. Each and every one of you all are encouraged to withdraw from any and all dramas, gossip, rumors, and whatever else will, and already has, approached your way today,”

A couple of days later on August 1st, 2021, Chris Chan was arrested outside a hotel in Virginia.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office released a statement on the arrest at the time, revealing he had been charged with one count of incest after engaging in alleged s*x crimes against a family member.

The statement read…

“On July 31st, 2021 the Greene County Sheriffs Office received information involving s*x crimes against a family member, who resides in the Ruckersville area. Both the victim and the suspect reside in Greene County. Based on the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued.

“On 8/1/2021 , the Henrico Police Department was able to locate and arrest the following individual: Christine Weston Chandler of Ruckersville, VA. Christine Chandler is currently being held without bond at the Central Virginia Regional Jail,”

The statement added that further investigations are ongoing and that more charges could be pending.

The crime he was accused of carries a sentence of up to ten years in Virginia.

Chris Chan was in jail for a total of one year and seven months, eventually being released on 27 March 2023. He had been held at the Central Virginia Regional Jail but in February 2022 was transferred to a mental hospital, the Western State Hospital, after having been declared incompetent to stand trial. He was transferred back to Central Virginia Jail in May after that decision was reversed.

Christine Weston Chandler born Christian Weston Chandler and known all over the internet as Chris Chan is a 42-year-old autistic American transgender woman known as the creator of the comic Sonicchu, an amalgamation of Sonic the Hedgehog and Pikachu.

Chan’s notoriety in internet lore is almost too much to be documented in one article hence we’re going to stick to his greatest hits.

He became internet famous in 2007 when photos of him at a tabletop gaming store made its way to the Something Awful messaging boards where he was trolled for his odd fashion sense and appearance. That began decades of internet infamy that invited tons of trolling, abuse, and bullying into the life of this mentally ill and severly autistic individual.

Chris infamously has difficulty in getting romantic relationships and one of the ways trolls get to him is by catfishing him and getting him to do increasingly ridiculous and abusive antics, most of which are too graphic to even describe. He is an easy dupe due to his desperation to find any sort of romantic connection.

Eventually tiring of the abuse he took a sabbatical from social media and returned with a new identity as he came out as transgender, changing his name from Christian to Christine.

In 2021, Chris Chan was arrested after he was caught on audio admitting to s*xually abusing his elderly and mentally incapacitated mother. He spent close to two years in jail, being released in March 2023.

In the here and now, Chris resides in a house in Big Island, Virginia, where he lives to this day.

Chris Chan is a fascinating combination of many things, his autistic personality and mental health challenges making him a cult online figure, although mostly held on a pedestal by trolls who sadistically delight in how much embarrassment they can dish out to him.
