A top New York City lawyer, Ariel Weinstock, has died after over a year of battling to stay alive following a devastating accident.

Weinstock was involved in an accident on June 8, 2023. According to Eileen Weinstock, after a tough battle in which he continually beat the odds, Ariel finally gave up the ghost on Saturday, August 17th 2024.

She said: “After beating all the odds since his accident on June 8, 2023, my heart is broken to share that our beloved Ariel passed away today,”

Weinstock’s funeral is slated for August 18, at the Boulevard-Riverside Chapel in Hewlett.

Who was Ariel Weinstock?

Ariel Weinstock graduated from the Yeshiva University with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science in 2004 before going on to the Brooklyn Law School for a Juris Doctor, graduating in 2007.

He joined the firm Katsky Korins LLP not long after, rising through the ranks to become a partner in 2014.

Weinstock is a real estate lawyer, particularly well versed in commercial real estate and construction transactions. He represents local and national clients in drawing up of construction agreements.

Weinstock also holds several positions attesting to his influence in the legal community, serving as an officer of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and Secretary of the NYSBA RPLS Construction Law Committee. He is a Director of the New York County Lawyers Association’s Board of Directors, among many other positions and accomplishments.

With nearly two decades of experience in real estate and construction law, Weinstock was a true giant in his field.

He will surely be missed and may he RIP.
