A social media user has declared that people in Kumasi support each other much more than people in Accra and that it was a massive shock to her when she moved from Accra to Kumasi.

According to this netizen, what she discovered when she moved from Accra to Kumasi was that Kumasi people are conditioned to help each other in all circumstances. She said during weddings, she realized people there buy little things to help the couple such as balloons and champagne while during funerals, people try to donate whatever little they have.

However, she said she observed the opposite in Accra.

The comment by the netizen was made in reaction to news that Oyerepa FM host, Auntie Naa, had raised Ghc 500,000 to help a sick nurse on her show.
