Memorial Held for Tanner Jordan, Idaho Veteran Who Committed Suicide

A celebration of life was held Saturday for a late veteran, Tanner Jordan of Idaho, who lost his battle with mental health.

A huge procession of bikes, trucks and more rode from Emmett to Boise in honor of Jordan and also as a way to raise awareness for men’s mental health.

Tanner Jordan died on Saturday, August 3, 2024, after taking his own life. He was a veteran who served and was battling inner demons, a battle he ultimately lost.

Jordan was remembered for his jovial personality and helpful nature. Many fellow veterans reminisced on how much of a great man he was and expressed deep regret that he decided to give up on life eventually.

The death of Jordan reminds us of the fragility of life and the dangers faced by those who enter the armed forces. His decision to end his life sheds a light on the underappreciated issue of men’s mental health. He would be remembered for a life of service to mankind. May he rest in peace.
