A young Ghanaian man has rubbished the plans of the flagbearer of the opposition NDC, John Dramani Mahama, to implement a policy that prohibits academic fees for new students at university.
According to the young man, who spoke up in an interview, such policies are needless.
He said he disagrees with the governmental mindset of proposing free things without thinking of the practicality of implementing the policy.
He pointed to Free SHS as one such policy where the government implemented it without thinking it through and it is now rife with challenges.
He said if the NDC wants to help Ghanaians, they should talk about how to fix the economy and create jobs and once the people are comfortable in their lives they can pay their own bills.
