Several people, including a doctor, have been arrested in connection to the overdose death of actor, Matthew Perry.

According to TMZ, authorities investigating the Friends’ alum’s death executed multiple warrants in recent days, seizing equipment including computers, phones and other electronics.

The lengthy investigation into the actor’s death is seeking to uncover a Hollywood drug trade in which doctors and dealers supply illicit drugs to celebs who pay a premium price for it.

Prior to his death, Perry was receiving ketamine infusion therapy for anxiety and depression, but law enforcement determined the ketamine that killed him was not prescribed.

During the investigation, intercepted texts discovered the doctor and dealers discussing how to deliver the drugs to the actor and the price he was willing to pay for them.

Police have since arrested the doctor and some dealers.

Matthew Perry died after a drug overdose while in his bathtub in October 2023.
