Ace Patton Ashford, the son of a rodeo family in Lott, Texas, has tragically died following a ranch accident on Monday, August 12th 2024.

A post from Troy Ashford Farmers Insurance on Facebook announced the tragedy.

“Our hearts are extremely saddened for the Ashford family as they lost their youngest son in a tragic horse accident on Monday. We pray for peace and comfort for all the family and friends. If you knew Ace Ashford, you knew an amazing and humble young man. Recent high school graduate on his way to his college career. He was taken from us too soon and we are all in mourning,” the post read.

Young Ace had just graduated from Rosebud-lott High School and had his entire future ahead.

Ashford’s death has stunned his family and friends with many taking to social media to mourn the young man who many has described as incredibly talented and well-mannered.

His girlfriend, Sydney Boatright, shared a simple tribute to Ace, sharing a photo of them about to kiss.

“I love you forever ace patton,” she wrote.

A truly heartbreaking tragedy. May young Ace rest in peace.

Meanwhile, a a high school graduation video of Ashford resurfaced online following his death, sparking more grief over his tragic and premature demise.
