Politician Kwame A Plus recently shared that he sleeps with his hand on his gun out of fear of being attacked without a chance to defend himself. This fear stems from the tragic death of his  friend Fennec Okyere, who was murdered in his own home.

In an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, A Plus, who is running as an independent candidate for the Gomoa Central parliamentary seat in the December 7 elections, expressed his determination to “die fighting.” He revealed that after receiving threats, he boldly provided his home address to those who threatened him, but they never showed up.

A Plus explained, “I don’t sleep with my phone in my hands. I sleep with my hand on my gun.  Fennec was in his room, sleeping, waiting for someone to break in and murder him. I was one of the first people to see what happened to him, and I still have the pictures on my phone. When I look at them, I tell myself I’m not going down like that. Even if I’m laid in state, you’ll see me smiling because I would have taken someone down with me.”
