Instagram star and social media influencer Elsy Guevara is lucky to be alive after being involved in a horrific jet ski accident, reportedly on Lake Perris in California.
Guevara was reportedly so injured she required emergency surgery but luckily, made it out ok.
News of Elsy Guevara’s accident was first released by her friends and colleagues, Youtubers Brittany and Briana Murillo aka the Murillo twins.
Reports indicate the accident happened when all three were out on a boat the twins own.
Several posts on social media from the twins and Elsy’s sister Patti revealed the severity of her accident and how lucky she is to be alive.
The twins posted two updates on the incident: “God is good, everyone send their prayers to Elsy Guevara she’s doing well now and out of surgery,” one update read.
The other said: “So thankful everything went well now praying for a speedy recovery,”
Another post from Elsy’s sister Patti revealed she’s recovering and getting better.
Patti revealed how worried and disturbed she had been following the accident but was now happy her sister was getting back to her best.
“When Elsy was in that terrible jet ski accident it shook us to our core. Her surgeries were some of the hardest moments we’ve ever faced,” she said.
Patti said in the aftermath of the Jet Ski accident on Lake Perris, even simple things like braiding Elsy’s hair was a big deal for her.
“The simple act of braiding her hair before church now holds so much more meaning. It’s a quiet reminder of life and the deep bond we share,” she wrote.
News of the accident has stunned social media users who knocked both Elsy and the Murillo twins for being a bit careless with their fun time.

“Idk but the Murillo twins invite everyone and their momma on their boat with no precaution with no boat licence,” one comment on TikTok said.
Another added: “They won’t learn until something really bad happens. First they almost got kidnapped now this,”

She started her career in 2017 posting popular ‘outfit of the day’ images that exploded her fame.

Guevara’s own YouTube channel has half a million followers, alongside hundreds of thousands more followers on her TikTok and X accounts.
