Actor and Comedian Angel Salazar Dies Aged 68

Cuban American actor and comedian, Angel Salazar has died at the age of 68.

A representative of his, Ann Wingsong, confirmed his death occurred on the night of Sunday, August 11th.

Salazar died in his sleep at a friend’s home in Brooklyn, Wingsong revealed.

No cause of death was disclosed but the actor had previously battled a heart condition.

Angel Salazar was most known for playing Chi Chi on Scarface alongside Al Pacino, who played the legendary Tony Montana. Other credits include starring alongside Al Pacino once again in Carlito’s Way and alongside Tom Hanks in Punchline.

Salazar was also-a stand-up comic who starred in multiple HBO specials. He also appeared in the series Last Comic Standing on NBC.
