A shooting broke out Saturday night at a Lil Boosie concert slated for outside the I-29 Speedway in Pacific Junction in Mills County, Iowa.
The shooting killed two people, the Des Moines register reports, identifying the deceased as Marcus L. Johnson, 28, and Charles A. Williams Jr., 27, both from Omaha, Nebraska.
According to the Iowa Department of Public Safety, they received reports of a shooting at the I-29 Speedway around 8:59 PM Saturday.
Law enforcement secured the area within a couple of hours, the DPS reported only a few people sustaining injuries. There was no information about the shooter(s) and their current status.
A later report from the Des Moines Register identified two deceased victims from the shooting – Marcus Johnson and Charles Williams from Omaha.

The I-29 Speedway shooting occurred just before a concert was about to begin – a Pull Up car show that had several artists slated to perform including Lil Boosie, Rob49 and Rich the Factor.
Social media users reacted to the shooting with shock, with one person revealing they had planned attending the car show before pulling out after hearing Lil Boosie was slated to perform.
“We almost went to this last night and changed our minds when we saw lil boosie was playing. Thank God we chose to go to eagle raceway instead,” the netizen wrote on Facebook.
Social media posts identified Facebook user Marcus Troubles Johnson as one of the deceased.
