Political commentator Kevin Taylor has slammed the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and the leaders of the NPP for their failure to develop Kumasi to a level to match Accra.
According to him, this shows the sustained failure of the party that their massive stronghold which always overwhelmingly votes for them remains underdeveloped.
Kevin Taylor said right now, if the Otumfuo, the Overlord of the Ashanti nation, falls sick, he has to be flown to Accra to receive treatment at UGMC, or the Greater Accra Regional Hospital because the healthcare network in Kumasi is appalling.

“So what’s his point ? Because John Kumah was sent to Accra for medical treatment, NDC is better ? Even UGMC sometimes makes referrals. In health care there are levels,” one netizen wrote.
