Ghanaian actress Portia Asare has finally come out to give her side of the story regarding the alleged visa fraud she engaged in alongside a travel and tour company.
About a year ago, Asare was trending for allegedly deceiving some people that she could help them travel abroad and duped them out of GHC 10, 000 each.
Asare had signed a deal with a company known as Union Travelling Agency and helped them gain customers for this deal, but later on, the company failed to help the customers gain their visas.
When people started chasing Portia for their money since she was the one who convinced them to pay up, she escaped from social media and went into hiding.
After a year, she’s now speaking up to give her side of the story.
According to her, she simply promoted the company but she did not take money from any person for people to be attacking her as a fraudster.

Despite her lame excuses, social media users bashed her that once she was taking money from the company to promote them, she should have made sure they were legit before convincing other people to give them money.
