Kim Bordenave is a model and the mother of actor Colin Farrell’s first son, James Padraig Farrell, who is trending due to the revelation he suffers from Angelman syndrome.
The actor has revealed previously that his first son suffers from the rare neurogenetic disorder.
His emotional revelations, revealing how difficult things has been for his son growing up captivated the internet and led more people on a search to learn more about James and his parentage.

Colin Farrell has two children, elder son James Padraig who he welcomed in 2003 with Kim Bordenave and Henry Tadeusz Farrell who he welcomed with Alicja Bachleda-Curús.
Kim Bordenave is a model who has worked with companies like Movado and appeared in numerous commercials.
Bordenave and Farrell had a fling in 2003 and she ended up getting pregnant for him.
She welcomed their son, James Padraig Farrell, in September 2003 and he arrived at a healthy 7 lbs 9 oz.
Her relationship with Colin Farrell was short lived as even whilst pregnant she complained that the actor was not taking very good care of her.
In entries from her page on Livejournal, which remain up to this day, she had a lot to say about the actor and how her pregnancy was going.
She said she planned to raise the child herself and not give him up as Farrell was not only being a d*ck to her but had planned not to attend the birth.
“I plan on raising this child…since you wont be present for our son’s birth, I should name him whatever the hell I want,” she said.
Nevertheless, Colin took custody and raised his son who was discovered to have Angelman’s syndrome, a rare neurogenetic disorder characterized by developmental delays, lack of speech, seizures and impaired balance.

In interviews over the years, Farrell has revealed the challenging nature of raising James who did not take his first steps until four years old.
In 2021, Colin and Kim filed for co-conservatorship of James.
According to the document, which was obtained by US Weekly, James is “nonverbal and has issues with his fine motor skills, making him unable to properly care for his own physical health and well-being and requiring him to need assistance in preparing food, eating, bathing and clothing himself.”
He also had frequent seizures growing up as that was part of his condition and Farrell described them as the scariest things in the world.
Thankfully, James is now grown and doing very well and is only a few days shy of his 21st birthday. Colin said he hasn’t had a seizure in a decade.
