Former President John Dramani Mahama has fired Vice President Dr. Mahamudua Bawumia over his idea to help Ghanaians buy phones on credit.
According to Mahama, who will face off against Bawumia in this year’s General Elections, Ghanaians actually require jobs to be able to live good lives.
He said if people have good jobs, they will be able to purchase their own mobile phones at their own convenience.
Mahama’s retort comes after wildly trolled comments by Dr Bawumia who said if he is voted into power, he would introduce a credit rating system that will allow people to buy phones and pay in Ghc 1 and Ghc 2 installments.
