Prophet Kofi Oduro, founder and leader of Alabaster International Ministries, has issued a stern warning to politicians who disrespect the legacy of Ghana’s first President, Kwame Nkrumah.
“Anybody who wants to win an election in this country, if you disrespect Nkrumah, it will not be well with you. Your government cannot be compared to Nkrumah’s. What have you accomplished that justifies such a comparison? Is it merely the construction of toilet facilities and other trivial projects? ” he said during a Sermon.
This rebuke comes in response to recent remarks by President Nana Akufo-Addo, who downplayed Nkrumah’s significance in Ghana’s history. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, running mate of the New Patriotic Party, also claimed that Akufo-Addo has surpassed all past leaders, including Nkrumah.
