Natalie White, a graduate of Fisk University working as a recruiter for PNC Bank in Nashville, Tennessee, has been identified as one of two women killed in a recent DUI crash in Madison.
Natalie White, 24-years-old originally from Chicago, Illinois, and 25-year-old Holly Wagner, of Missouri, were killed in the crash that occurred next to RiverGate Mall.
The crash left friends and family of White mourning her on social media and calling for justice.
According to Metro Nashville Police, the crash occurred on Gallatin Pike North at Cude Lane around 11:30 p.m. Saturday when the driver of a Jeep Cherokee, identified as 22-year-old Giovanni Bolstad, blew a flashing red light at high speed and rammed into White and two friends in a Ford Focus.
White and Wagner, who were the passengers in the Focus, both died, while the driver, an unidentified male, escaped with non-life threatening injuries.
Bolstad after causing the crash fled the scene but returned later leading to his arrest. Police charged him with vehicular homicide by intoxication and vehicular assault, leaving the scene of an accident involving a death and driving on a revoked license.
His license had been suspended following another DUI crash, in March last year.
The late Natalie White had a Bachelor’s Degree from Fisk University, having graduated in 2021.
Friends and family stormed social media to mourn her.
“I can’t believe she’s gone. Rest in Peace Natalie White I knew her since 1st Grade. This is devastating news. I can’t imagine how your family is feeling. I wish I got to see you again to catch up. This is unfair,” one netizen wrote on Facebook.
