LilWin Finally Apologizes to Martha Ankomah Publicly

In a surprising turn of events, popular Ghanaian actor Lilwin made a heartfelt public apology to fellow actress Martha Ankomah during a live broadcast of United Showbiz on UTV. The emotional moment occurred on August 3, 2024.

Lilwin expressed remorse for his previous actions, particularly the hurtful words he had uttered during a TikTok live session. He directly addressed Martha Ankomah, saying, “Martha, please forgive me. I didn’t mean any of the offensive words I used. I deeply regret my actions.”

Remember, this all started with Lilwin accusing Martha Ankomah of snubbing Kumawood actors due to their “low-quality” storylines. In a viral video, Lilwin  responded with a barrage of insults, leading to the defamation suit.  Martha Ankomah demanded GH₵5 million in damages, an apology, a retraction, and an injunction against further defamatory statements.
