Emma Sebastian, the sister of popular Youtuber Linus Sebastian, founder of the Linus Media Group and former CEO of Linus Tech Tips, has sadly passed away.
Emma Sebastian died in June 2024, with her brother Linus announcing her death during a WAN show he was on.

Emma Sebastian was the older sister of popular YouTuber and tech guru Linus Sebastian of Linus Tech Tips and the Linus Media group who passed away on June 13th, 2024. She was 40 years old.
Linus Sebastian announced the sad death of his sister Emma while appearing at a WAN show in June. He revealed that he had recently had to attend a funeral for his older sister.
Emma Sebastian was born December 9th, 1983, to Heather Sebastian and Graeme Bennet in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. She grew up with her parents and four siblings, Isabelle (Bella), Asher, George, and Linus.
According to Emma Sebastian’s obituary provided by her family, she was a great person to be around, offering help and expertise to anyone who needed help. She was a great organizer who helped arrange many church activities including the Fall Fair and other fundraising or family events. She also organized meal programs that fed many homeless people and the poor.

She was also a great help in the lives of her grandparents who were able to live independently for many years with her willing and eager assistance.
The death of Emma Sebastian stunned many followers of Linus and his company and led to many expressing condolences to him and his family.
“Deepest condolences to his family. May she Rest in Peace, read one comment on a reddit thread on the subject,” read one comment in a Reddit thread following her passing.
Another said: “Rest in peace to Linus sister, Emma Sebastian, our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends,”
Her memorial service was held Saturday, July 27th, at Tsawwassen United Church. She was subsequently interred at Church Memorial Gardens.
Emma was a lovely and beautiful person who brought joy to the lives of not just her family but friends and all in her community. She would be surely missed.
