Emilee Rivera of Kirkwood, Missouri, was tragically killed in a recent accident, leaving her family and friends in mourning.
Rivera’s death, at the young age of 29, stunned all those who knew her.
She leaves behind a husband, two children, and a community completely enveloped in grief.
Who was Emilee Rivera?
Emilee Elizabeth Rivera (née Smith) was born on April 30, 1995, in Magnolia, Arkansas to Douglas and Kandi (nee Hitt) Smith. She had two siblings, Bennett and Olivia.
Rivera was a travel consultant in Kirkwood, putting her love for traveling to good use by helping guide others on the best ways to explore the world.
Emilee was married to the love of her life, Rodolfo ‘Rudy’ Rivera. The couple welcomed two children, Luca and Posie.
According to her family, her two kids were her whole world. Emilee doted on Luca and Posie and showered them with all the love in the world.

According to her obituary, Emilee Smith was always positive with an infectious personality. She loved movies, music, food and travel.
Tragedy struck the Rivera family on July 28th when Emilee sadly passed away in an accident. She was only 29.
In the wake of her demise, a GoFundMe fundraiser was started to help her surviving family cover the costs of this unexpected tragedy. The fundraiser has raised a staggering $43,559 of its $50,000 goal at the time of publishing this article.
Emilee Rivera was a beautiful soul who radiated love to all she met. She will be sorely missed and may she rest in peace.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, August 5th at the Chapel Hill Mortuary. Visitation will be from 11 am-2 pm with the service immediately following at 2:00 pm
