Ghanaian Dancehall star Shatta Wale has turned up the heat on social media with his over-the-top reaction to the news of Vybz Kartel’s release from prison. If you didn’t know, Shatta Wale has  been a big-time vocal supporter for  Vybz Kartel  since Kartel’s 2014 incarceration for murder.

When the announcement dropped on July 31, 2024, the Dancehall scene erupted, and Shatta Wale was all over it. He was so pumped that he took to social media with posts like, “Gaza freedom is a must! I knew this day would come. Welcome home, father for all!”

In a hilarious twist, Shatta Wale let his followers in on his next big move: heading to Jamaica to hang with his mentor. In true Shatta fashion, he joked, “I’m packing my bags to become Vybz Kartel’s ‘houseboy’ in Jamaica!”
