Yvonne Nelson, the well-known actress, producer, and author, wants everyone to know she hasn’t stopped acting. In a recent interview on Joy FM, she explained that she’s currently focused on building and running her schools, which is why she’s not as active in movies right now.

“No, I haven’t quit acting,” Yvonne clarified. “I have just taken a break and I am putting more energy into my schools. This is not my only school; this is the newest school. We have the early years, the daycare, and Just Like Mama daycare.”

Managing these responsibilities has been quite demanding. “I’ve been juggling multiple roles, and it has proven to be quite stressful. The construction of this facility, although only at the ground floor stage, has been a significant undertaking. This initial phase has consumed much of my time, overshadowing my acting career,” she noted.

Yvonne’s hard work is paying off in more ways than one. Recently, the Class of 2024 from her school, Just Like Mama daycare, celebrated their graduation on July 31, 2024. Photos and a video from the ceremony made their way online, leaving many impressed by Yvonne’s achievements as an actress and an educator.
