Nana Obiri Boahen, a lawyer who once served as the deputy general secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed his disapproval of John Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The attorney Nana Obiri Boahen said that no one who reveres God will vote for Mahama in the general elections that are going to take place in the near future.
He claimed to be aware with Mahama’s track record as he was being interviewed on a radio station situated in Kumasi, Akoma FM. He emphasised his genuineness throughout the interview.
He advocated for Bawumia as a “tried and tested” leader by posing a rhetorical question that compared Mahama to Dr. Bawumia, who is a member of the National People’s Party (NPP).
Bawumia’s support by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, who praised his persistent humility, was emphasised by Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen as more proof of Bawumia’s eligibility over Mahama. Mahama was criticised for his frequent displays of humility.
Assuming that putting the NDC back to power would be an irreparable mistake, he cautioned the people of Ghana against making such a decision.
