KNUST Student to Kick Off Guinness World Record Attempt for Longest Video Game Marathon on Friday

A student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Azoumaro Vanessa Salese, is set to kick off another Guinness World Record (GWR) attempt for Ghana.

Salese, a third year student of the University studying social work, is attempting to become the world record holder for the longest video game marathon.

Her attempt kicks off on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Republic Hall Common area on KNUST campus.

She is to play the game the Ghost of Tsushima series for 48 nonstop.

Salese is hoping to become the first ever record holder in the category as no one has attempted what she’s trying out to do before.

Salese becomes the latest Ghanaian to attempt to break a GWR record.

It has not gone well so far with most of the high profile personalities who attempted failing to get certified.
