On Saturday, 20 July 2024, the CEO of End Point Homeopathic Clinic- Dr Adu Boateng handed over a 5-bedroom staff bungalow which the clinic has reconstructed to the Ghana National College in Cape Coast—as part of the clinic’s corporate social responsibility.
Dr Adu Boateng who completed Ghana National College in 2002 presented the bungalow to the College on behalf of End Point Homeopathic Clinic. The handover coincided with activities marking the 76th anniversary of the establishment of the school.
The 5-bedroom staff bungalow is intended to house two teaching staff.
During the handover, Dr Adu Boateng said: “As an old student of Ghana National College, my team and I considered it prudent to heed to calls by the school for decent accommodation units for its hardworking staff—with a reconstruction of this bungalow for the school.”
“I am here today in life largely because of the robust foundation Ghana National College offered me. Therefore, giving back to the same institution which has propelled me to this height is a pleasure,” Dr Adu Boateng added.
Ghana National College was established on 20th July 1948 in Cape Coast by Ghana’s first president, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah with his personal funds, as a consequence of agitations for Ghana’s independence from colonial rule.
The school started with 17 students – 16 males and a female – with the famous Mathematician and Physicist-Professor Francis Kofi Ampenyi Allotey as the first student.
