An entire contingent of paralympic athletes from Ghana went missing after travelling from Accra to Oslo, Norway for a competition, it has been revealed.
According to a statement from the Ministry of National security, the team, made up of eleven people, failed to register and participate in the competition for which they travelled to Norway.
Instead, they mostly went on the run to other EU countries.
However, one member of the team, Nana Antwi, was arrested by Norwegian security officials while attempting to escape from Norway to Sweden.
A coach with the team, George Gyamfi Gyasi, also collapsed and died from unknown reasons.
Currently, security officials all across the European Union have been alerted and are searching for the runaways.
