Samia Nkrumah
Samia Nkrumah, the daughter of former President, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, has revealed that her father never owned his own house after his political career.
According to her, this was because Dr Nkrumah was not corrupt and focused on amassing wealth like politicians of today but was rather interested in the development of Ghana and the continent of Africa.
Her comments are meant to strike a clear contrast between her father and the current NPP government.
This follows comments by the NPP’s Vice Presidential candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, that Akufo-Addo has achieved more than Nkrumah.
According to Samia, her father was actually concerned about developing Ghana and not amassing wealth like the politicians of today.
