Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the spokesperson for the John Mahama Campaign Team has advised Ghanaians to not vote for Dr Bawumia and his running mate, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh.
Speaking to Naa Ashorkor in a recent interview, Joyce Bawah stated that Ghanaians will suffer more if they vote for Dr Bawumia and Napo to take over from Nana Addo.
She also added that the NPP communicators are crying because the comment of the immediate past Energy Minister has caused problems for them.
“Our dear friends in the media John Mahama is the most newsworthy leader in Ghana, honest, trustworthy and sincere! Join him to build the Ghana we want!#MahamaConversations Please NPP communicators are crying because Napo has finished them, continue crying ok, John Mahama is the real deal! Newsworthy, trustworthy, credible and honest! Forget the hopeless, loose talking pair, they are pathetic”
Joyce Bawah also spoke about the debate between Dr Bawumia of the NPP and John Dramani Mahama of the NDC. The former Deputy Transport Minister emphasised that the key issues for the 2024 general election are well-known to Ghanaians, suggesting that there is little appetite among voters for a formal debate.
Madam Bawah Mogtari underscored the campaign team’s strategic focus on other forms of engagement and communication with the electorate.
“I personally have no appetite for a debate…When I look at what we have, when I look at the current trajectory, when I look at the failings of this particular administration, I ask myself ‘why do we need to put up with a debate’? But of course, this is a decision that the upper people usually will make.
“It’s not my decision to make, as the debates and conversations go along, maybe eventually some conversations will happen around it, who knows?
