A statement from the Ghana Police Service has identified the cause of death of Lois Abena Koranteng, a KNUST graduate who recently died during a business trip with her boss.
In the statement, the Ghana Police Service said following the social media uproar over the incident, an autopsy was conducted for Lois in the presence of her family.
Via the autopsy, her cause of death was identified as asphyxia, severe pulmonary edema, and drowning in a pool.
The autopsy did not indicate whether foul play was a factor in her death but the statement said police continue to investigate the matter.
