A new post from singer Halsey with a newspaper report about her being on House arrest has gotten the internet in a confused state leaving many wondering if Halsey has been arrested.
Halsey shared a post to her TikTok page with numerous newspaper clippings about her life. One contained a headline about her being on House arrest!
The post quickly went viral as can be expected when she posts something and gotten the internet asking questions.

Singer Halsey shared a video to TikTok with various newspaper headlines covering her life, one of which said she was under house arrest.
The clipping contained a headline: “Exclusive: Halsey on House arrest”
It shows a photo reportedly taken by paparazzi showing Halsey in a bikini with an ankle monitor on her leg.
Having spotted the paps, she sends them a message by flipping the bird!!
The news quickly went viral and got people asking questions about whether Halsey had been arrested.
However, it turns out the entire thing is simply part of promo for her new single ‘Lucky’.
The post she shared with numerous clippings had a snippet of ‘Lucky’ playing in the background.

Halsey fans jumped on social media to explain to the uninitiated that the post was simply promo and not a real life representation of her current circumstances.

Halsey born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane on September 29, 1994 is an American singer and songwriter noted for her distinctive singing voice.
She has received several awards including three Billboard Music Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, an American Music Award and nominations for three Grammy Awards.
She was included on Time’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2020.
Halsey was born and raised in New Jersey and kicked off her music career on social media. She released her debut EP, Room 93 in October 2014 and her debut studio album, Badlands in 2015.
In 2020, Billboard reported that Halsey has sold over one million albums and received over six billion streams in the United States.
