A Ghanaian woman has been killed after officials of the Winneba Government Hospital reportedly dumped her in a bush.
The atrocious action was taken as a response to the family of the said lady abandoning her in the hospital for months after she was treated following her involvement in an accident.
According to residents of the town where she was dumped, they saw a vehicle from the Winneba Government Hospital drop someone off in a bush.
A few days later the person was dead.
In an interview with a doctor from the hospital, he defended their action by claiming that the woman’s family had refused to discharge her for months.
The doctor also said that the woman had developed a mental condition hence was disrupting the operations of the hospital.
Nevertheless, it seems crazy that a hospital can simply dump a patient in a bush in such a manner and consequently, Ghanaians are calling for those in charge at the hospital to be punished!
