Ghanaian twin group DopeNation has slammed Kuami Eugene after he claimed the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Artist of the Year award that Stonebwoy won was due to the dancehall musician backstabbing his colleagues.
Eugene, disappointed on losing out to Stonebwoy in the Artist of the Year and Album of the Year categories, took to Twitter to vent.
He claimed that the music industry is ‘bloody’ and people are doing all sorts of immoral things to ensure they win awards, implying Stonebwoy had done underhanded things to be awarded.
Since his rant, numerous social media users called him out as a hypocrite, noting that when he swept the awards some years back, no one claimed he had done any ‘kuluulu’ to win.
DopeNation added their opinion, accusing Eugene of doing worse things in the past to win awards!
