A Ghanaian man in the U.S.A. known as Edward Fordjour was shot five times and killed at Troubadour Way in Newark, situated in the state of Delaware. 

Fordjour sustained critical injuries in the shooting and was administered emergency care by first responders.

He was transported to the Christiana Care Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The 42-year-old Ghanaian leaves behind a wife,  Abena Difie Danquah and three children aged 11, 4 and 2 years old.

Police are yet to discover a motive for the crime.

The family of Fordjour have started a GoFundMe to raise money for the widow and her three children.

The fundraiser has so far raised $2,000 out of a $50,000 goal.
